Breast Lift Procedure
A mastopexy or breast lift is a surgical procedure performed to reshape the breast and return it to a more youthful position. Drooping of the breast may occur after pregnancy as well as aging. Frequently a breast implant may be used in conjunction with a breast lift in order to achieve better results. Depending on the amount of breast lifting that needs to be accomplished, different techniques may be used that involve different incisions. Generally, the more lifting that is required, the larger the incision (and therefore the scar).

Canada By car Although less likely, you might also enter the country by road from the United States through one of the (literally) hundreds of border crossing points. Obviously, the same rules will apply here, but if your case is not straightforward, expect to be delayed, as the officials here (especially in more rural areas) see fewer international travellers than at the airports. Also expect delays during holiday periods, as border crossings can become clogged with traffic.
Drivers of American cars will need a certificate confirming that they carry enough public liability insurance (generally $200,000) to meet the requirements of all Canadian provinces and territories. Since many US states permit limits below this threshold, American visitors bringing their own automobiles should check with their automobile insurers and obtain the required certificate.

Canada By plane You are likely to arrive to Canada by air, most likely into Montreal, Toronto or Vancouver (the 3 largest cities, from East to West). But other airports in Canada also have international (mostly from the US) flights as well, particularly (from east to west), Halifax, Moncton, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton, and Victoria.

- Group Health seniors are not only sweating to the oldies in local health clubs. They are also keeping health care costs down, according to a study by researchers at Group Health and the University of Washington (UW). The study appears in the January 2008 issue of the journal Preventing Chronic Disease.
- The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has issued updated information on oseltamivir-resistant influenza strains. The Agency has carried out further sampling as part of ongoing investigations and latest figures show that approximately 14% of the A (H1N1) viruses circulating in Europe have shown resistance to oseltamivir. To date, the oseltamivir-resistant isolates this season have been fully susceptible to zanamivir and amantadine.
Only a small proportion of samples with oseltamivir resistance have been identified in the UK (8 out of 162 samples tested). Although this is an important finding, the Agency notes that it is too early to judge on the clinical significance until more research is completed. They state that there is no need for change to the NICE recommendations for the use of oseltamivir in the UK at present.
