Vaginal surgery Procedure

A woman’s look, or feel, in her vaginal and pubic region has a significant importance in a woman’s life. It is closely related to her self-esteem, and to the actual and expected excitement involved with her sexual life and desire.
Discomfort in a woman’s vaginal area can severely affects her psychological state.

Many women today seek cosmetic surgery solutions that will improve their look and feel in their pubic regions. Such solutions may include reconstruction (mostly tightening) of the vagina, cosmetic procedures in the labia (size-reduction and beautification), and others. Intimate Plastic Surgery corrects dysfunctions and improves the woman's hidden aesthetics

As well, there is a growing demand today, mostly due to ethnic and religious requirements, to re-construct woman’s hymen.
In general, cosmetic vaginal surgeries may be divided in the following groups:
• Vaginoplasty (mainly vaginal tightening and muscle re-building)
• Labiaplasty (reducing and/or reshaping the external genital structures)
• Hymenoplasty (re-construction of the hymen, to a “near-virginity” state).

Birth-giving, aging, and genetic factors often cause the vaginal muscles to loosen and weaken, sometimes even tear. The diameter of the vagina gets bigger and there is a loss of feeling.

There are three main technical approaches in vaginal surgeries:
• Scalpel
• Laser
• Radiosurgical techniques

The candidate will consult her physician and the surgeon about the methods the surgeon uses in vaginal procedures. Each technique has its advantages, and it all depends on the expert surgeon’s experience and the specific patient’s needs and preference.

Most patients are very happy after vaginal tightening surgery. Their regained vaginal muscle tone significantly improves their quality of life in general, and the quality of their intimate sex-life in particular.

Careful assessment of signs and symptoms, along with an in-depth clinical examination, will be made before any surgical decision. As well, any existing vaginal disease or infection will be diagnosed and treated before proceeding into cosmetic surgery.

According to the scientific medical paper of Masters and Johnson, sexual gratification is directly related to the amount of frictional forces generated. It is not, however, a solution for sexual dysfunction, lack of interest or arousal, or orgasmic inadequacy.

Labiaplasty can be combined with other cosmetic surgeries. Most women who wish to undergo labiaplasty also choose tummy tucks and liposuction procedures in parallel.

  • Australia History

The continent of Australia was apparently first settled more than 40,000 years ago with successive waves of immigration of Aboriginal peoples from south and south-east Asia. With rising sea levels after the last Ice Age, Australia became largely isolated from the rest of the world and the Aboriginal tribes developed a variety of cultures, based on a close (spiritual) relationship with the land and nature, and extended kinship. Australian aborigines maintained a hunter/gatherer culture for thousands of years in association with a complex artistic and cultural life - including a very rich 'story-telling' tradition. While the 'modern impression' of Australian Aborigines is largely built around an image of the 'desert people' who have adapted to some of the harshest conditions on the planet (equivalent to the bushmen of the Kalahari), Australia provided a 'comfortable living' for the bulk of aborigines amongst the bountiful flora and fauna on the Australian coast - until the arrival of Europeans.

  • Australia Geography

Australia is the world's smallest continent but sixth-largest country; it's slightly smaller than the 48 contiguous United States. The highly urbanised population is heavily concentrated along the eastern and south-eastern coasts. Australia is bordered on the northwest, west, and southwest by the Indian Ocean, and on the east by the South Pacific Ocean. The Tasman Sea lies to the southeast, while the Great Barrier Reef lies to the northeast. Papua New Guinea, East Timor and Indonesia are Australia's northern neighbors, separated from Australia by the Arafura Sea and the Timor Sea.

Australia is mostly arid and semi-arid: the center is desert and much agricultural land is poor quality by the standards of continents with richer soil. The south east is temperate and the north tropical. Australia was massively deforested for agricultural purposes: forest areas survive in extensive national parks and some other areas. Australia is prone to severe drought and water restrictions are currently in place in some areas, however these shouldn't affect travellers as they mostly relate to watering gardens and washing cars.

Plastic Surgery News...

  • The National Prescribing Centre (NPC) has produced a “blog” discussing a recently published meta-analysis which concluded that statin therapy should be considered for all diabetic individuals who are at sufficiently high risk of vascular events (Lancet 2008; 371:117-125). The blog discusses the results of the meta-analysis, and concludes that “Clinicians should continue to perform CV risk assessment in patients with diabetes (either clinically or using an approved assessment tool). While the majority of people with diabetes will fulfil the criteria for consideration of a statin (CV risk greater than 20% over ten years) some will not. Even those who do may choose not to take a statin and may prefer to undertake other, non-drug methods of risk reduction. Certainly, other factors should not be forgotten e.g. smoking cessation, blood pressure control, antiplatelet therapy, and blood glucose control.”

  • Though they perch far apart on the avian family tree, birds with the ability to learn songs use similar brain structures to sing their tunes. Neurobiologists at Duke University Medical Center now have an explanation for this puzzling likeness.
