Labiaplasty Procedure
(Labia reduction, re-shaping outer and inner lips)
Labiaplasty is one of the three major areas of cosmetic vaginal surgeries.
The procedure aims to correct dysfunctions and improve the woman's hidden aesthetics.
The way a woman feels about the look and sensation in her vagina and pubic areas has a major impact on her self-esteem, her sexual desire, and her intimate relationship.
There are three major areas of Cosmetic Vaginal Surgeries, aimed to rejuvenate a woman’s sexual feeling:
• Labia surgery (labiaplasty, labia reduction and look improvement, correcting the size and shape of the inner and outer lips)
• Vaginal reconstruction and rejuvenation (vaginoplasty, mainly vaginal tightening)
• Hymenoplasty (hymen reconstruction, “bringing back to virginity”)
Labia reduction
Many women want to ease discomfort associated with large or thick labia. Not just the look, but thick labia often interfere with biking, working out, and wearing tight fitting clothes. Large labia causes irritation, rubbing and discomfort during sexual intercourse, exercising, or while wearing certain types of clothing.
As well, many women want to enhance or improve appearance of a “butterfly”, or an asymmetrical labia. Feeling good about how you look often builds self-confidence and self-esteem.
Labiaplasty can be combined with other cosmetic surgeries. Most women who opt for labiaplasty also choose tummy tucks and liposuction.
Labia procedures may include liposuction of the Mount of Venus (for a bulky pubic area) and augmentation of the Mount of Venus (for an atrophied pubic area).
Vaginal physiological state significantly affects a woman’s physiological state. Structure reconstruction of the vagina area may well bring back the younger feel, and contribute the sexual life and self esteem improvement a woman is looking for.
Some surgeons perform procedures involving laser surgery, where others use methods such as radiosurgical techniques or scalpel techniques.
Your doctor / surgeon will explain how long the surgery will take, the amount of time and care necessary for a full recovery, and exactly when after surgery it would be safe to resume sexual intercourse.
This surgery can also relate to the labia majora (larger outer lips) to make it less prominent. Labia surgery is most often done in the operating room but in many cases surgery can be done in the office under local anaesthetic at dramatically decreased costs. This procedure takes 60 to 90 minutes to perform.
Parallel to undergoing cosmetic surgery, some alternatives should be considered as well. Such include exercises, medical therapies and psychosocial counselling.
Most patients are very happy after vaginal, often wishing to have had surgery much earlier. Their regained vaginal sensation and look well improves their quality of life.
Labia Surgery Costs depend on your choice of doctor and location. Prices may range between $3,000 and $8,000.

Australia Holidays The national holidays in Australia are:
January 1: New Years' Day
January 26: Australia Day, marking the anniversary of the First Fleet's landing in Sydney Cove in 1788.
Easter weekend ("Good Friday", "Easter Saturday", "Easter Sunday" and "Easter Monday"): a four day long weekend in March or April set according to the Western Christian dates.
April 25: ANZAC Day, honouring military veterans
Second Monday in June: Queen's birthday holiday (not celebrated in Western Australia, which observes Foundation Day a week earlier)
First Tuesday in November: Melbourne Cup Day
December 25: Christmas Day
December 26: Boxing Day Many states observe Labour Day, but on completely separate days. Most states have one or two additional state-wide holidays.
When a public holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday (Easter excepted), the following Monday (and Tuesday if necessary) are declared holidays in lieu, although both the celebrations and the major retail shutdowns will occur on the day itself. Most tourist attractions are closed on public holidays. Supermarkets and other stores may open for limited hours on some public holidays and on holidays in lieu, but are almost always closed on Good Friday, Easter Sunday, ANZAC Day and Christmas Day.
Australia History The continent of Australia was apparently first settled more than 40,000 years ago with successive waves of immigration of Aboriginal peoples from south and south-east Asia. With rising sea levels after the last Ice Age, Australia became largely isolated from the rest of the world and the Aboriginal tribes developed a variety of cultures, based on a close (spiritual) relationship with the land and nature, and extended kinship. Australian aborigines maintained a hunter/gatherer culture for thousands of years in association with a complex artistic and cultural life - including a very rich 'story-telling' tradition. While the 'modern impression' of Australian Aborigines is largely built around an image of the 'desert people' who have adapted to some of the harshest conditions on the planet (equivalent to the bushmen of the Kalahari), Australia provided a 'comfortable living' for the bulk of aborigines amongst the bountiful flora and fauna on the Australian coast - until the arrival of Europeans.
