Labiaplasty is one of the three major areas of cosmetic vaginal surgeries.
The procedure aims to correct dysfunctions and improve the woman's hidden aesthetics.

Some surgeons perform procedures involving laser surgery, where others use methods such as radiosurgical techniques or scalpel techniques.

This surgery can also relate to the labia majora (larger outer lips) to make it less prominent. This procedure takes 60 to 90 minutes to perform.

Parallel to undergoing cosmetic surgery, some alternatives should be considered as well. Such include exercises, medical therapies and psychosocial counselling.
