Liposuction in Hamburg Germany

The procedure can "sculpture " your body by removing extra fat from tummy, buttocks, arms, knees, cheeks and neck.. You must remember that liposuction is not an alternative for diet and exercise, it's main target is to help remove extra fat from areas in which fat reduction cannot be done successfully by dieting.

The ideal candidates for the surgery are people with normal weight, elastic skin and areas of "fat pockets" in their body. There are no age limits but older people has less elastic skin and therefore might get results that are worse then the younger patients.

Liposuction can be done by several techniques: solution injection - in which the surgeon injects a special solution to the fat tissue. The solution consists of anesthetics to reduce pain. Adrenalin to reduce bleeding and fluid to help separate the fat from the tissue.

The tumescent technique - much larger amounts of solution is being injected. Surgeons use this method, which allows to inject large amounts of anesthetics, and therefore this kind of procedure can be done with local anesthetics. The operation usually takes longer than the first one (4-5 hours).

The super wet technique in which the amount of solution injected equals the amount of fat tissue removed. This method also takes longer time and has to be done with general anesthetics.

Ultrasound assisted lipoplasty is another technique in which sound waves targeted to fat tissue. The waves break the connection between the fat cells, which are then being removed by suction. This method can be used in areas with connective tissue like the back and male breasts and also in areas that require more precise suction.

After the surgery to avoid swelling the areas of the suction will have elastic bandages. The surgeon may also leave draining tubes to prevent fluid collection. You might also receive antibiotics to prevent an infection.

Every surgery has its complications. In liposuction of 5 liter of fat and more there is a risk of fat or clot emboli to the lungs and even death. Extra fluids might be difficult to remove. The suction tube may cause skin necrosis or alter sensation in the area due to nerve damage. The ultrasound technique regarded as relatively safe produces, but it is a new one therefore the long term damage still unknown. In general, the surgery presents an extra rick for patients with diabetes, lung and heart disease and for those who had similar procedure in the past.

Hamburg has a well developed public transportation system. Buses go around the clock. At night a special "Nachtbus" (night bus) service connects the outlying districts and the city centre. The buses depart and arrive at "Rathausmarkt" near the town hall and operate all through the night. Intracity train service runs from approximately 5 AM until 1 AM in the central city, but there is often not service past 11PM in outlying districts. On weekends it runs all night. See HVV - Hamburger Verkehrsverbund for lines and prices.

  • Hamburg Hamburg-Finkenwerder Airport (XFW)
XFW airport in the suburb of Finkenwerder is actually not an airport in its usual meaning but part of Airbus' Finkenwerder aircraft plant and thus only accessible to Airbus employees. For them, two daily flights are available to/from Toulouse, but most of the time the runway is used for freight, be it plane parts (up to complete sections of passenger planes using the Beluga aircraft), be it the delivery of new planes.

  • Following serious concerns raised about Staffordshire Ambulance Service NHS, the Healthcare Commission launched an investigation covering the period April 2004 to June 2007. In particular, there were concerns about the trust’s management of risk, its use of medicines and its community first responder scheme. Some of the findings of the investigation were as follows: 1. Ambulance staff and volunteer community first responders were supplied with drugs that they were not legally supposed to possess, such as diazepam and midazolam. 2. Medicines in the trust’s stations regularly went missing or were unaccounted for due to poor recording and monitoring. 3. Patients were sometimes given larger packs of drugs than they needed and told to dispose of the excess themselves. 4. Community first responders were allowed to drive at speed using blue lights and sirens, without the necessary advanced driving training. 5. The doctors employed in the out-of-hours GP service, provided by the trust for south Staffordshire were not always GPs, nor were they approved by the relevant PCTs. 6. The ambulance trust introduced new equipment without guidance on which patients it was appropriate for or evidence that it was beneficial or cost effective. 7. Delays in transferring patients from ambulances to A&E were not well managed. The Commission stresses that West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust (WMAS), which took over Staffordshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust in October 2007 has already made progress on addressing these issues, such as introducing a new system for supplying medicines to community first responders and ambulance staff; and formal pharmaceutical advice is now available to the trust. The Healthcare Commission is also calling on the Department of Health and the Home Office to improve guidance to trusts on licenses to possess controlled drugs.
